You can create a new reference or upload a document using the directions below. A demonstration of this process can be found in this tutorial.
1. Select the + sign in the menu bar.
2. Select from the menu options.
- If you have a PDF saved to your computer, select "Upload Document." Be sure to check that the details for your uploaded document are correct for the citation. Sometimes items need to be corrected.
- Select "Create new reference" to start a new reference using information from a citation or document.
If you create a new reference, a new information window will open for you to add the content of your citation. Be sure to select the correct type of source in the drop down menu beside "Ref Type." You can add a file by selecting "Add an Attachment."
