Lyndon Baines Johnson served as the 36th president of the United States from 1963 - 1969. Johnson, known as LBJ, took office after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He served as president during the Vietnam War.
Johnson died in Stonewall, TX on January 22, 1973.
