Credo Reference: Using Credo Reference: Advanced Search

Research guide discussing how to use the search features of Credo Reference.

Advanced Search

Advantages of the Advanced Search

The Credo Advanced Search has more search options than the Basic Search. To access the Advanced search, conduct a basic search, then select "Advanced Search" in the upper right hand corner of the page.

You can search all words, an exact phrase, any words, and without certain words (those words must not be present.)

You can also choose to sort your results by relevance, publication date or length and specify to search only within the headings of the entries, not the full-text.

You may further limit your search by subject, a specific book, or only entries that contain a specific feature such as images, audio, biographies, articles and maps.
