Explore a collection growing collection of Adventist resources.
The Adventist Digital Library exists to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world through direct and unlimited access to Adventist historical materials, as well as current resources available within copyright boundaries. By providing scholars and researchers the tools they need to publish new insights on Adventist theology and history, and by enriching the ministry of teachers, pastors, and parents, we strive to serve as a resource to guide the minds and hearts of the next generation of Christians. By making materials digitally available, we also are preserving historical items to ensure that they will be accessible for future generations

An index of obituaries found in a number of Seventh-day Adventist Church periodicals covering 1850 to the current year.
The obituaries in this Index are found in a number of Seventh-day Adventist Church sponsored and published periodicals. Local church pastors report deaths in their church to the editor of the periodical for inclusion in a later edition. Not all church members are included. Only those members for which the editor received information will be found in the magazine and therefore in this Index.
Provides citation indexing to over 40 past and present Seventh-day Adventist journals and magazines.
Currently the index covers the years 1973 to current, with updating done in real time. The exception is the Review and Herald which is currently undergoing retrospective indexing beginning with 1972 at the rate of roughly one year’s worth of articles a month. Online access may be available for recent issues of many of the titles. Be sure to verify your periodical’s title, issue, date, and article title, then go to the list of titles indexed for a web link to periodicals available online, in whole or in part.
